Your Gift, Their Future

Waldorf schools provide a vibrant, transformative education that nurtures confident, creative, and resilient individuals, equipping them with the skills and character to thrive in a changing and challenging world.

Waldorf education fosters peace by nurturing children as whole human beings—mind, heart, and hands. Founded after World War I, its mission remains the same: to inspire students' natural curiosity and growth, guided by compassionate teachers who model humanity and resilience. We are raising the next generation of critical thinkers.

And we need your support!

Wild River is run by Tahoe Truckee Waldorf, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit that provides access to Waldorf programming in the local area.  To keep our tuition affordable, we depend on community funding to uphold our mission. We are grateful recipients of grants from both private foundations and local non-profits, and we hold events to help meet our fundraising needs.

Annual Giving is a crucial component of our success. Unlike public, charter, parochial, and state-funded schools, Tahoe Truckee Waldorf receives no outside funding and relies solely on tuition and fundraising to cover operating costs. We strive to make Waldorf education as accessible as possible in our rural community.

Your support helps us meet our operating expenses and advance our purpose: developing the next generation of humans—intellectually, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. The need to support children in these ways becomes more apparent each year, and we rely on the generosity of our extended community!
