Wild River is a thriving Waldorf-inspired educational community serving families in North Lake Tahoe and the surrounding areas in both California and Nevada. Our community is driven by a highly respected faculty and staff who enjoy the support of dedicated, driven, and loving families.

Wild River operates on a 40-acre forested campus in Truckee, CA where the community gathers and the students explore and learn in amoungst the trees. Truckee-Tahoe is a national hub for outdoor activities year-round, with incredible access to world-class lakes and rivers, mountain trails, and climbing. The area offers a variety of natural foods markets, events, and festivals.
