Parent + Child
Gentle Time for Parents + Young Ones
Mountain Blue Birds
for Caregivers and Children Ages 3 months- 3.5 years
Our nourishing, family-centered parent-child class offers a relaxed way to introduce you and your young child to the nurturing, rich developmental approach of Waldorf education and philosophy.
We welcome children 3 months to 3.5 years old and their parents/caregivers to come and enjoy a home-like environment while exploring the world through movement, play, and song.
Enjoy a morning with circle time, puppet play, and plenty of free play for the children, while the parents/caregivers will learn about how Waldorf philosophy supports them and their child on their parenting journey. We will work together on small projects, such as bread making, painting, or preparing a delicious snack together.
During the 6 weeks, we will explore the topics of Rhythm, Imitation, Nourishment & Sleep, Family Culture, and more.
Participants will receive weekly handouts with reading materials, book recommendations, ideas for play, recipes, and other helpful sources of inspiration for life at home.

"This class is one of the best things we've done to support our family life. The songs, the rhythm, the little hands in dough, the quiet busyness of the children's play -- those little things anchor our days, big and littles alike. I look forward to it every week. It's become our little practice and present time together; I've learned so much. I look forward to when my baby can join Ms. Soma's Kindergarten and carry on with the program." - Mountain Bluebird parent
