Homeschooling with Wild River
We work with homeschooling families to provide educational opportunities for their children within the Waldorf framework. Our Early Childhood program offers homeschooling enrichment classes for children age 4 – 6 years old. Our Pods program offers homeschooling enrichment classes that are open to families with children from age 6.5 - 13 years old. Our programs offer a variety of Waldorf inspired courses to supplement children’s homeschool education. We strive to enhance a balance between family life and enrichment opportunities and have found homeschooling to be a wonderful avenue for this. One of our main goals is to help your child be successful throughout your homeschooling endeavor, and we look forward to being a part of your journey.

How to Shift to Homeschooling
If you need assistance learning more about homeschooling, the information below may be helpful for your process of getting set-up:
-
If your child is currently enrolled in a public or private school (classroom-based or online) you will need to notify your school district of your intentions to homeschool.

-
Parents have the option to file a private school affidavit (PSA) to privately educate or "home school" their children. Wild River requires submission of this PSA if you choose to register for our enrichment programs.

-
If your child is already enrolled in a homeschool program, please include that information on your registration. We will work with you to ensure your family takes advantage of the programs that Wild River offers.

-
You should always keep records of your child’s attendance and academic progress regardless of the method you choose for homeschooling.
